These ARE the droids you’re looking for!

Posted in Android, App Store, Games, Google Play, Gravitrixx, Mobile, News, retro on January 22nd, 2013 by quantumsheep

Hey all! Another update! Already!

I was up converting .Matrixx for the Kindle Fire when I realised I hadn’t signed up for the android store, otherwise known as ‘Google Play’.

The process only took about half an hour. And half an hour later, I had a version of Gravitrixx submitted!

You can find it here for Android.

Crazy stuff. It also takes just hours after submission to be published. So it’s available NOW!

I need a cup of tea. And some sleep I think…

Hope you Android users enjoy the game, and I’ll get busy bringing more to your format of choice!

“You’ve taken your first step into a larger world.” – Obi Wan Kenobi, Star Wars

Hello all!

Just a quick note to let you know that old sheepy favourite “Gravitrixx” has made it onto the Kindle Fire!

Yay!

You can find the game here πŸ˜€

Also, why not check out our game page for more details!

This is a very exciting start to the new year for me! I’m already looking at getting our other games onto the Kindle, including the much loved Air Supply!

But that’s not all! Testing is going on right now to try and get these games onto Android, and if Microsoft can sort out my account you’ll see them on Windows 8 too.

Busy, busy sheepy!

For now though, Gravitrixx has been a good start! Thanks all for reading!

Hello all, and a happy new year to you!

Had a productive start to the new year! Currently I’m still working on three projects, but have also been working on porting my current games to other platforms!

Below are Air Supply and Gravitrixx on a Kindle Fire:

.Matrixx is also looking a bit nice on the Kindle Fire too πŸ™‚

Other versions I’m aiming for is Mac for Air Supply, and possibly iPad. Also trying to work out how to get stuff onto Windows 8 Devices!

Busy times ahead! Hopefully you’ll see the fruits of my labours over the last year soon!

Thanks for reading, and here’s to a fun filled 2013!

Toodles!

DotMatrixx now available on Mac! :D

Posted in .Matrixx, App, App Store, Apple, dot matrix, Gravitrixx, Mac, Music, News, retro on December 21st, 2011 by quantumsheep

Hello everyone, hope you’re all well. Busy I suppose. Very, very busy! πŸ˜€

My latest Mac game is out today! Hurrah! You can find it here!

The poor game was rejected by Apple because, rather obviously, you can’t start an app name with a ‘.’ (as in .Matrixx, as it appears on the iPad!).

Anyway, Apple were very good and approved the latest version in record time I think (it was just a few days – thank you, Apple Overlords!) and the game is now out!

Hope you enjoy the game! It features some awesome music by Amiga Agia, and it’s actually a lot of fun using a mouse to control your avatar – very precise and stuff! πŸ˜€

So that’s it for 2011 I think! Thanks for all your support, and I’ll post a summary at some point I’m sure!

Cheers all!

Progress! :D

Hello everyone!

While I wait for early access to Star Wars: The Old Republic, I thought i’d do some work πŸ˜‰

So what have I been up to!???

Well, with any luck, Gravitrixx for Mac will be out on the Mac Appstore tomorrow! (Friday December 15th). Fingers crossed, eh?

DotMatrixx should be available for Mac too at some point, if it passes Apple’s approval process of course! It’s been re-submitted, so now I’m just waiting to see what happens!

On a related note, A Merry Gravitrixmas is available for iPhone for free! It’s a Xmas themed version of Gravitrixx, and will only be available during the holidays! I hope you like it!

I’ve also submitted an update to Sunshine with hopefully some minor bugs squashed and an extra hat for the holidays! Yay! πŸ˜€

Look for that *hopefully* next week!

Finally, work still continues on getting Air Supply and Attack of the Kraken on the Mac, as well as possibly iPad. Look for those in the new year.

I’m hoping that next year will see Quantum Sheep games on the Kindle Fire, and maybe some other android based tablets/phones. We’ll see!

And, of course, there are new games in the works. Namely Air Supply – SOS and an adventure game of some sort!

BUSY BUSY SHEEPY!

So, that’s it for now. I’ll post some more updates as stuff becomes available!

Thanks for reading!

.Matrixx on the way…

Posted in .Matrixx, App, App Store, dot matrix, Games, Gravitrixx, iPad, Music, News on June 29th, 2011 by quantumsheep

Hey all, hope you’re well!

I’ve been working on .Matrixx (dotmatrix) for over a month now, and it’s nearly done!

Nearly!

I’m just waiting on some art for the unlockable backgrounds and player avatars!

Soon as I get them, I’ll be submitting to the app store – but the release date is likely to be July 16th (to allow for Apple review, and to avoid the inevitable ‘big boy’ sales over July 4th).

The game’s an endless collect/avoid ’em up for the iPad – and it’s bloody addictive, even if I do say so myself!

For now, here’s the splash screen!

A thank you to Japan, and a new game to boot!

Posted in Air Supply, App, App Store, Apple, Games, Gravitrixx, iPad, iphone, ipod, retro on June 14th, 2011 by quantumsheep

Hello everyone! Hope you’re all well!

Just wanted to let people know that I’ve been working on an iPad game recently and it’s shaping up very nicely!

I’m hoping to get a build out to a few testers over the weekend, if not before, with a submission to Apple soon after.

It’s called .Matrixx (DotMatrix) and it’s a ‘prequel’ of sorts to Gravitrixx, the Tron inspired puzzle game.

It has a similar look, but plays completely differently as it’s an ‘endless’ survival game!

A high score is the name of the game here, with Game Center support, and I’m just adding some unlocks and achievements too.

The soundtrack’s pretty special as well, as you’d come to expect from little old me! πŸ˜€

More details to come soon!

In addition to all this, Air Supply is still doing reasonably well for a game that’s now over three months old! Bless it! I hug it every night to say ‘thanks’!

And I’d like to say ‘thanks’ to everyone who’s tried the game out! It really means the world to me that so many people have enjoyed the game!

Indeed Japan, in particular, seems to have taken Air Supply to their hearts! As I write, it’s still in the Japanese charts, and that is just simply awesome!

Mainly because I don’t speak any Japanese ( πŸ™ ), and therefore can’t really ‘market’ the game there.

I imagine it’s just word of mouth, so thank you, Japan! It’s very much appreciated!

More news soon! πŸ˜€

Turning up the heat! Twice! :D

Posted in Air Supply, App, App Store, Apple, Games, Gravitrixx, iphone, ipod, puzzle, retro, space, stars on April 1st, 2011 by quantumsheep

Hello everyone! πŸ˜€

In continuing the commitment towards Air Supply with another update – 1.2 is out now and features:

*Added a new short and sweet track by Mister Beep – this gives the game an awesome 1bit soundtrack of 8 chiptunes in total.
*Added user requested option to allow buttons to remain visible. This can be found in β€˜options’ under β€˜control settings’
*Added ability to adjust opacity of β€˜always visible’ control graphics.
*Reduced amount of stats visible at game end. You can still see the full stats by pressing the button in the top right hand corner of the game over screen.
*reduced loading times slightly
*Some tiny bug fixes

A tiny sneak peek of v1.3 can be found on the arcadelife website here.

Hope you like it and I’m working hard to get the 1.3 to you all as soon as I can! πŸ˜€

In addition, Air Supply is listed under ‘What’s Hot’ in both arcade and action categories on iTunes US!

You know what’s fun about that?

Well, in the ‘action’ category, Air Supply is joined by another Quantum Sheep game – Gravitrixx! πŸ˜€

Check it out below, top left, bottom right!

I hope they get along!

Thanks to everyone who bought the game and to Apple for the continued support! πŸ˜€

Hey everyone, hope you’ve had a lovely weekend!

I was very lucky to be asked for an interview by the lovely chaps over at arcadelife.co.uk – an iOS review site that’s fast becoming one of my faves!

You can read the interview here.

Do go make a cup of tea before you start, though, as it’s quite long!

Hope you find it interesting!

Cheers!

In addition, we have Project Air on the way, as well as other stuff we can’t talk about!

So, a busy February! Hurrah!
