DotMatrixx now available on Mac! :D

Hello everyone, hope you’re all well. Busy I suppose. Very, very busy! πŸ˜€

My latest Mac game is out today! Hurrah! You can find it here!

The poor game was rejected by Apple because, rather obviously, you can’t start an app name with a ‘.’ (as in .Matrixx, as it appears on the iPad!).

Anyway, Apple were very good and approved the latest version in record time I think (it was just a few days – thank you, Apple Overlords!) and the game is now out!

Hope you enjoy the game! It features some awesome music by Amiga Agia, and it’s actually a lot of fun using a mouse to control your avatar – very precise and stuff! πŸ˜€

So that’s it for 2011 I think! Thanks for all your support, and I’ll post a summary at some point I’m sure!

Cheers all!

No one can be told what the Gravitrixx is. You have to see it for yourself.

Hello everyone!

Well, we’re close to finishing on Gravitrixx. It’s been almost two months in development, but we’re ready to send out test builds to people and see what they think!

Below are some first pass screenshots. They’re very likely to change (in fact, they *have* to!) so take them with a pinch of salt.

The game is pretty much finished. All 101 levels are in and working and giving us the right results.

What’s left is a lot of ‘front end’ stuff (level selection, progress mechanics, and a bunch of art stuff that needs polishing and integrating).

We’re hoping to be submitting some time next week, so look out for the game come the start of November!

Will keep you all updated on progress of course, and will make a video soon as we’re done. It really is turning out to be quite beautiful, but it looks even better in motion!

We hope you’ll enjoy playing it!

Gravitrix is coming…

Posted in art, Games, iphone, ipod, News, retro, screenshots on October 4th, 2010 by quantumsheep

Hello everyone!

So Jake and I have been spending some time making Gravitrix levels, and they’re coming along nicely! Last count we had 97, but that may go up or down before release!

We’re excited that the game has come on so well, but there’s still a lot to do on it!

The pic above is a ‘first pass’ from our awesome artist for the game’s title screen.

I think it already looks awesome, but I’ve been promised it’s going to be even better before he’s done!

Hope to have some more news for you soon!

And remember – no-one can tell you what the Gravitrix is… you have to play it for yourself! πŸ˜‰
