These ARE the droids you’re looking for!

Hey all! Another update! Already!

I was up converting .Matrixx for the Kindle Fire when I realised I hadn’t signed up for the android store, otherwise known as ‘Google Play’.

The process only took about half an hour. And half an hour later, I had a version of Gravitrixx submitted!

You can find it here for Android.

Crazy stuff. It also takes just hours after submission to be published. So it’s available NOW!

I need a cup of tea. And some sleep I think…

Hope you Android users enjoy the game, and I’ll get busy bringing more to your format of choice!

QS 😀

A Merry Gravitrixmas! – Now available on the app store!

Posted in App, App Store, Apple, Games, iphone, ipod, puzzle, video, Xmas, youtube on December 13th, 2010 by quantumsheep

Hello everyone!

I just noticed it’s nearly Christmas!

Luckily, we have a Christmas game coming out tomorrow, Monday 13th December!

Link here: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/a-merry-gravitrixmas/id407897537?mt=8

It’s the festive version of Gravitrixx, titled ‘A Merry Gravitrixmas’

There are just over 60 levels to the game, which includes ‘remixed’ versions of levels found in Gravitrixx, along with a healthy dose of brand new levels.

It’s aimed at the Xmas/Kids/Casual market, so there’s an improved tutorial, tilt controls as standard (though Gravitrixx players that liked the buttons can switch to that control method), some awesome Christmassy tunes from Kevin Mcleod and fabulously festive graphics from Ian at Debug Design!

Here’s a video for you!:

Cheers everyone – we’ve had an eventful and fun filled year!  We’ll see you all on the other side, though we’re still waiting on a Gravitrixx update and Gravitrixx Lite to go through!

Hope you all have A Merry Gravitrixmas!

Posted in App, App Store, Apple, iphone, ipod, News, puzzle, screenshots, Xmas on December 12th, 2010 by quantumsheep

Hello all!

Just a quick post to let you know the Xmas version of Gravitrixx – “Gravitrixmas” – will be out on Monday!

Yay! 😀

Guide Santa in his quest to eat more candy! Boy, is he hungry!

There are 60 levels in total for just $.99, with many remixed from the original, as well as completely new levels!

Tilt controls come as standard on this version, and the game is aimed more at the kids/Xmas market, but will still be a challenge for seasoned Gravitrixx players!

We’ll have a video for you by Monday – launch day! In the meantime, here’s a screenshot!

Hope you like it – more info soon!

Gravitrixx 1.1 is out and about!

Posted in App, App Store, Apple, iphone, ipod, Mobile, News, puzzle, retro, sci-fi on November 30th, 2010 by quantumsheep

Well, the latest version of Gravitrixx is out on the app store now.

It’s just housekeeping really – a few tiny bugs tidied up, the buttons on the side hidden so as not to spoil the view!

We’re hoping to submit *another* update in the next few days that will include:

Tilt controls (as requested by our players!)
A better tutorial (to ease people into playing the game)
Direction indicators (as requested by our players!)

We’re also working on adding a few more levels, but this will be in a later update!

Thanks to everyone that tried it and for the excellent feedback you’ve all given us! We appreciate it!

Next up: Gravitrixmas

Gravitrixx Lite submitted, Gravitrixmas on the way…

Posted in App, App Store, Apple, art, Games, iphone, ipod, screenshots, stars, Xmas on November 29th, 2010 by quantumsheep

Hey everyone!

Jake and I had an intensive week of working on an update to Gravitrixx – we’re adding tilt controls (a user request) and tidying up the tutorial elements to make it easier for people to get into the game.

This has some positive knock-on effects. We’ve managed to include these additions into the ‘lite’ version from day one, and now we have Gravitrixmas to look forward to, again, with all the updates ready!

Here’s your first sneak peak at the Gravitrixmas title screen – we hope you’ll like it!

No one can be told what the Gravitrixx is. You have to see it for yourself.
