Hi all,

Our latest game, Attack of the Kraken (formerly known as ‘Project K‘), is almost ready! We’re hoping to submit to Apple this week, with a pencilled in release date of July 23rd!

It’s a side scrolling classic shoot ‘em up, inspired by John Wyndhams awesome book, ‘The Kraken Wakes’ aswell as classic games like Attack of the Mutant Camels and Defender.

The graphics were supplied by debugdesign – we can’t recommend them enough!

We’re extremely proud of this game, and hope you’ll give it a go if it takes your fancy! We’ll be giving more details here once it’s submitted.

Progress on Project K is still slow and steady – we’re hoping to have something for our testers by Wednesday this week… which will give us the weekend to tidy the game up a bit and address any issues that arise… maybe a video will surface at some point!

In the meantime, we’ve come up with yet another idea for an app which has great potential. It’s quite different from anything else out there we feel, and we’re just pencilling out how it’s going to work.

It’s a huge art job, though, so it may be a while before you see it. It has to join the queue of other apps we’re hoping to release!

‘Project K’ is coming along nicely. So nearly done, and yet so much yet to do.

Release is pencilled in for July 10th, though it may slip a week (and more than likely will).

Progress is slow and steady. A lot of the menus are done, but still need work. Six of the 16 levels are in and functioning…

Like we said, slow and steady!

Hoping to get an early version out to testers by the end of the weekend. It runs fine on an iPhone 3GS, and ok-ish on a 3G phone/1st gen iPod Touch. We’ll try and optimise it, of course, but it may be restricted to 3GS and upwards…
