We’ve been beavering away on our latest game, which we love very, very dearly already!

This love comes from a  particular subject. We don’t want to reveal too much, as it’d give the game away. But this subject links us, and some very talented musicians together, as well as another iPhone developer that’s on a similar wavelength.

The game is turning out beautifully, and we should be done in a month or two. We can’t wait for you to see and hear it!

However, it wouldn’t be possible without the musicians we’ve mentioned. Their music, generosity of spirit, enthusiasm and their shared love of the mystery subject have truly made this a game we are very proud of, even at this early stage.

We hope to in turn make them proud for participating and helping out!

Thank you guys – we’ll spread the word soon!

New app due tomorrow

Posted in App, App Store, Apple, Game Salad, iphone, ipod, News on January 13th, 2010 by quantumsheep

Unbearably Wonderful?

A new app from Quantum Sheep is due to hit the App Store tomorrow.

It’s an experimental piece that doesn’t do very much. Except, perhaps, make you think a bit.

Weird, eh?

If you have a Mac, you can play it here, for free, right now: http://gamesalad.com/game/play/33900

We’ll be charging for the iPhone version, as we’re planning some updates for it which won’t be available on the free web-based version. And sometimes you might want to take those thoughts with you. On the go. And take pictures of them.

Possibly.

We might even see if we can embed it into the product page. Who knows???

Yes, it was written while we were drunk. Yes, it probably shows. We like to think of it as ‘arty’. Maybe.

Expect more  in the next couple of days with a product page to go along with it!

Scargo! reviews

Posted in App, App Store, Apple, Game Salad, Games, iphone, ipod, Race, Reviews, Scargo, Snails on January 3rd, 2010 by quantumsheep

Scargo!, the snail racing simulation (TM?) has been reviewed! Hurrah!

The response has been very positive. You can find the reviews here:

Examiner Review

“Parents looking for a simple racing game for their children will not go wrong with Scargo! It’s a very basic racing game with basic controls that any child can learn without difficulty and parents can rest assured that it isn’t too violent or overly stimulating for young children. However, they will still have to worry about getting their iPhones back from their kids.”

Under the Radar Review

“A fun and engaging racing game with gorgeous eye-popping graphics and an upbeat soundtrack – definitely loads of fun for kids.”

Expect updates to Scargo! in the future! In the meantime, you can find version 1.0 here.

Xmas 2097 – loved around the world!

Posted in App, App Store, Apple, comic, Game Salad, Horror, iphone, ipod, News, sci-fi, Xmas on January 3rd, 2010 by quantumsheep

Happy New Year everyone! We hope it’s a good one for all of you!

We’d like to take a moment while we’re here to say ‘thank you’ to everyone who downloaded ‘Xmas 2097′ over the holidays.

It’s our first comic, and to be honest was a bit rushed so that we could release it before Xmas.

Despite this, it’s been a huge success! It’s been downloaded hundreds of times from all manner of countries around the world. It’s even managed to sneak into the top 200 in the ‘books’ category in 10 countries.

Thank you! We hope you enjoyed it!

We’ll certainly be looking to make more comics for iPhone in the future. In the meantime, look out for the next update to Singularity Drive Prologue – we’ve put our comic making skills to good use for that little game!

Thanks again from all at Quantum Sheep!
